450 mgcholine per day
150 mcgiodine per day
27 mgiron, gentle chelate form
+ DHAseparate softgel, 300 mg

Why we are making one

Most prenatals carry little or no choline, and many skip iodine. The daily need for choline in pregnancy is 450 mg, and a 2016 review found none of the top-selling prenatals reached it. We are building ours to the amounts the research uses, with the form of each nutrient printed on the label, the way every Valenco product is labeled.

  • Choline, 450 mg. Supports fetal brain and nervous system development. The nutrient most prenatals leave out.
  • Iodine, 150 mcg. Supports normal thyroid function for mother and baby. The amount the American Thyroid Association asks every prenatal to carry.
  • Folate as methylfolate. The active form, at the full pregnancy amount.
  • Iron as bisglycinate. The full 27 mg daily amount in a chelated form that is easier on the stomach.
  • DHA on its own. Oil and powder do not belong in the same capsule, so DHA ships as a separate softgel at 300 mg.

Who it is for

Women who are planning a pregnancy, pregnant, or nursing and want to see every amount before they take it. Talk to your OB-GYN or midwife before starting any supplement, including this one, and bring the label with you. Our current Women's Multivitamin is not for use during pregnancy; this product is the one built for it.

Questions

When does it ship?

We are collecting the waitlist now and getting manufacturing quotes. If the demand is there, the first run ships in early 2027. You will get one email the day it is available.

Will I be charged for joining?

No. The waitlist is an email list only. Nothing is charged until you choose to order a finished product.

Is it vegan?

The capsules are vegetable capsules with no animal ingredients. The DHA softgel is fish oil; an algal DHA option is on the list if enough people ask for it.

Why is the DHA separate?

Fish oil cannot be packed into the same capsule as mineral and vitamin powders. A separate softgel keeps both at full strength and lets you take the DHA with your largest meal.

Is it tested?

Yes. Every batch will be lab tested, including heavy metals, with a Certificate of Analysis on record, the same standard as the rest of the lineup.
